Statement of Faith:
THE HOLY SCRIPTURES:
We believe in the Holy Scriptures, given by divine inspiration, revealing
the will of God concerning us in all things necessary to our salvation. The
Holy Scriptures contain the truths and power of God and is the supreme
standard by which all mankind should live by.
(2 Timothy 3:15-17 & 2 Peter 1:20-21)
THE ONE TRUE GOD:
We believe in the deity of the one true and eternal God. This one true God
has revealed Himself as God the Father, God the Son, and as God the
Holy Spirit. We believe God is a spirit that manifested Himself in the Old
Testament in different forms; in the Son while He walked among men
and as the Holy Spirit after the ascension.
(Hebrews 11:6, Deuteronomy 6:4, Mark 12:29, Isaiah 43:10-12, 1 Corinthians 8:6, Ephesians 4:6, Exodus 3: 2-6,
2 Corinthians 5:18 &19, Joel 2:28 - 29 & John 4:24)
THE SON OF GOD:
We believe the Lord Jesus Christ is the Son of God. The scriptures declare His:
1. Virgin birth (Matthew 1:23, Luke 1:31, 35)
2. Sinless life (Hebrews 7:26 & 1 Peter 2:21-24)
3. Miracles ( Acts 2:22 & Acts 10:38)
4. Substitutionary work on the cross (1 Corinthians 15:3, 2 Corinthians 5:21 & 1 John 2:1-2)
5. Bodily resurrection from the dead (Matthew 28:5-6 & 1 Corinthians 15:4)
We acknowledge the Lordship of Jesus Christ over all things in heaven and in earth and under the earth. (Philippians 2:9 – 11)
THE CREATION AND FALL OF MAN:
We believe that man, by disobedience, fell from a state of righteousness and holiness in which he was first created, into a state of sin
and death, in which he is held a captive of sin and away from God until he is delivered by the power of the Gospel and the grace of
God, through His son Jesus Christ.
(John 3:16, Romans 3: 23-24, Romans 5:12-21 & Ephesians 2:8-9).
REPENTANCE:
We believe that repentance toward God and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ produces the work of justification in the believer. This
is an essential step to salvation and a progressive step toward a new life in Christ.
(Romans 5:1, 9, I John 1:9, 2 Corinthians 7:10, Acts 17:30 & Mark 6:12)
WATER BAPTISM:
We believe in water baptism by immersion is to be performed upon repentant believers, to the glory of the Father, the Son and the Holy
Spirit, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, for the remission of sins.
(Matthew 28:19, Acts 2:38, 1 Peter 3:21, Colossians 2:9-13, & Romans 6:3-5)
BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT:
We believe that speaking in tongues, as the Spirit gives utterance, was and is one of the physical signs of being baptized with the
Holy Spirit. We believe that speaking in tongues, as the Holy Spirit directs is a sign to the unbeliever, valuable in prayer, and also
edifies the believer and the church.

THE GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT:
We believe that the gifts of the Spirit are for today and should be active in the church to enjoy the fullness of God. We believe that these
gifts are imparted by the sovereignty of the Holy Spirit and only operate by this one and self-same Spirit. (1 Corinthians 12:11)
DIVINE HEALING:
We believe that healing for the mind, body and spirit was and is provided by the blood and sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ.

MINISTRIES OF CHRIST:
We believe in giving & doing the ministry of Christ to those in need. (Matthew 25:35-46 & James 1:27)
PEACE:
We believe in promoting peace. (Romans 10:15, Luke 1:79 & Matthew 5:9)
